Connection within the family is where it begins
At Kindred Hope Connections, we believe families are the foundation of connection, healing, and growth. When caregivers feel supported, understood, and equipped, children are better able to feel safe, regulated, and connected in their everyday lives. We work alongside families because meaningful change happens in relationships—not in isolation—and every family deserves tools that honor their strengths, experiences, and hopes. By partnering with families, we help create lasting connections that extend far beyond a single moment or program.
-
Roots for Connection Family Nights bring families together in a supportive, welcoming environment focused on strengthening relationships. Through guided activities, play, and meaningful connection moments, caregivers and children practice building trust and understanding together. Families leave with simple tools they can use at home to support connection, regulation, and everyday moments. These evenings are designed to feel encouraging, practical, and hope-filled—not overwhelming.
-
Growing Together Workshops support caregivers as they learn to better understand behavior through a trauma-informed, relationship-based lens. These interactive sessions focus on connection, regulation, and practical strategies that can be used in real life. Caregivers are encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and grow alongside others in a supportive space. The goal is to empower families with knowledge while honoring their strengths and experiences.
-
Family Regulation & Calm offer hands-on experiences where families explore tools that support emotional regulation and calm. Through movement, sensory activities, and simple routines, caregivers and children learn how to recognize stress and respond with connection. Families gain practical ideas for creating calming environments and routines at home. The focus is on building awareness, resilience, and shared regulation together.

Serve with Connection is a 2–3 hour interactive gathering designed to equip volunteers who serve youth, especially those who may have experienced adversity. Rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI), it focuses on building connection, understanding behavior, and offering practical strategies that help volunteers support youth with compassion and confidence.
Our Process
Begin with Listening
Every family’s story matters. We start by listening to your needs, hopes, and challenges so we can understand what support will feel most helpful for your family. This helps us create a path forward that feels realistic, respectful, and supportive.
Grow Together
Families are partners in the process. We work alongside you with open communication, shared decision-making, and space for questions and reflection. There are no expectations to “get it right”—just room to grow together.
Flexible & Responsive Support
No two families are the same. We stay flexible and responsive, adjusting our approach as needs change and honoring each family’s pace. Support is shaped around your family—not the other way around.
Rooted in Care & Connection
Our work is grounded in care, trust, and relationship. When we offer tools, guidance, or experiences, they are practical, thoughtful, and rooted in genuine connection. Our goal is support that feels lasting, meaningful, and hopeful for families.
