Meet the Co-Founders

Hi there! I’m Angie Eads, co-founder of Kindred Hope Connections, TBRI Practitioner, Play Therapist, Early Educator, CASA, and lifelong student of neuroscience.
From a young age, I was drawn to the child who needed encouragement, understanding, or someone to believe in them. That compassion grew into a calling that continues to guide my work today.
As a child who experienced foster care and an adult who battled cancer, I know firsthand that life’s challenges can shape us in profound ways. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the power of connection, healing, and hope. Discovering TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) gave words to what I had always believed: behavior tells a story, connection matters, and every person deserves to be met with compassion, dignity, and grace.
Today, it is a privilege to walk alongside children, families, and individuals as they grow, heal, and discover their strengths. Whether through play therapy, TBRI, teaching, or advocacy, my goal is to help others recognize the worth, resilience, and potential that have always been within them.
Often, I can be found spending time with my four amazing children and three precious grandchildren, taking photos, reading, or enjoying quiet conversations with God.
My hope is that when you connect with the Kindred Hope Connections team, you know your story is valued, your worth is never questioned, and no matter where life has taken you, there is always hope, healing, and a place where you belong.

Hi, I’m Ashley—a wife, mom, educator, Making Sense of Your Worth® Facilitator, and TBRI® Practitioner. My faith, family, and passion for helping children and families navigate life’s challenges are at the heart of everything I do.
For over a decade, I have worked with children and families in educational settings, where I have seen firsthand the impact that connection, belonging, and felt safety have on a child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive. Through this work, I discovered Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), a trauma-informed approach that transformed the way I understand behavior, relationships, and healing.
TBRI® has given me a deeper understanding of the connection between the brain, behavior, and relationships. It has helped me recognize that behind every behavior is a need, and that meaningful change happens through connection rather than control. This perspective has shaped both my professional work and my personal life.
In addition to serving as a TBRI® Practitioner, I am a Making Sense of Your Worth® Facilitator, helping individuals discover their value, identity, and purpose. I am currently pursuing my degree in Social Work/Counseling as I continue expanding my ability to support children, individuals, and families through healing-centered and relationship-based practices.
As co-founder of Kindred Hope Connections, my heart is to create spaces where children, caregivers, foster families, adoptive families, educators, and community members feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe every person deserves to know they have worth, every family deserves support, and every child deserves the opportunity to grow in an environment built on trust, connection, and hope.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family, serving in my community, or learning new ways to better support the children and families I am privileged to walk alongside.
Connection has changed my life, and my hope is to help others experience that same transformation
